The goal was simple: Instead of going for something narrative-heavy or overly complex, we wanted a tight, replayable loop that captures the feeling of repetition &#8211; both exhausting and oddly satisfying. That\u2019s how our little top-down firefighting strategy game was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Epic Mega Jam - Here We Hose Again Gameplay\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sBBXKIXsKBE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the game, you lead a small crew of firefighters responding to building fires. Each mission is a bit different, but lasts just a few minutes. You assess the situation, deploy your tools, and try to contain the flames before everything goes down in smoke. It became the visual heart of the game &#8211; a flexible, overlay material system that simulates spreading fire across tiles and dynamically blends between burned and intact materials.
